Virginia Tozer
Advancement Analyst
Virginia Tozer is the Advancement Administrative Assistant at The Exchange, working directly with the Chief Advancement Officer to support the organization’s day-to-day operations, communications, events, and coordination. As a new organization, Virginia plays an important role in driving The Exchange’s advancement and fundraising activities.
Virginia graduated from Trinity College Dublin with a Bachelor’s degree in Human Geography and Political Science, focusing her research on urban challenges and environmental justice. Her final thesis explored the contestation of public space and spatial planning during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Virginia previously worked for the urban planning firm RMLA, assisting with policy analysis and operations during their early stages of development. She conducted public outreach programs and contributed to national and county framework plans aimed at reducing car dominance and promoting active travel. Virginia also brings experience in event management and fundraising from her role as Installations Officer for the Trinity Arts Festival.
Originally from Dublin, Ireland, Virginia has lived in Prague and Berlin and has explored numerous European cities. She is passionate about international collaboration, local climate initiatives, and fostering livable cities. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the boroughs by bike, as well as through food and film.
