A Forest Deconstructed - Photography Exhibition Launch

Join The New York Climate Exchange on Governors Island for the opening reception of A Forest Deconstructed, a new outdoor photography exhibition exploring the relationship between climate, nature, and the built environment through the work of Dutch photographer Witho Worms and poet Kai Diata Giovanni.

This site-specific exhibition aims to spark curiosity and climate awareness, connecting the natural origins of wood to the future of sustainable construction and the forthcoming mass timber campus of The New York Climate Exchange on Governors Island.

Guests will explore the exhibition, learn more about sustainable materials, and join a conversation with the artist. Light refreshments will be provided.

Register today!

Admission is free. The Arts Center at Governors Island is accessible via an 8-minute ferry ride from the Battery Maritime Building at 10 South Street, followed by a short walk from the ferry landing. To arrive on time, we recommend taking the 5:45 PM ferry. Round-trip ferry tickets are $5 and available for purchase at the terminal.
