Interdisciplinary Charette: Creative Solutions to Advance New York's Resilience Priorities

  • The New York Climate Exchange 309 Clayton Rd New York United States (map)

What will it take to transform New York's climate commitments into real-world action?

Join Waterfront Alliance, The New York Climate Exchange, and HNTB during Climate Week NYC for a collaborative event focused on advancing resilience priorities through cross-sector partnerships and creative problem-solving. Building on discussions held at the 2026 Waterfront Alliance Conference, government leaders, community organizations, designers, engineers, researchers, and industry representatives will come together to develop actionable recommendations for addressing climate challenges facing New York City and the surrounding region.

Following an interdisciplinary charrette, participants will share ideas for advancing equitable resilience investments, strengthening neighborhoods, improving infrastructure, and enhancing regional coordination.

A jury of academics and city leaders will hear presentations of proposed solutions and engage in an interactive discussion.

Together, we'll explore how New York can move from planning to implementation and build a more resilient future for all communities.
