The University of Miami's Climate Resilience Institute (CRI) and Battery Park City Authority are hosting a full day of Climate Week NYC programming at Wagner Park Pavilion featuring conversations, panels, and tours focused on climate adaptation and nature‑based resilience. Bringing together academic researchers, design professionals, and different organizations, our conversations highlight how public landscapes can act as climate infrastructure and how nature-based infrastructure supports community resilience in different cities. Throughout the day, we’ll look at work happening in New York City, Houston, and Miami, and how each place is using nature‑based approaches at different scales. The day wraps up with site tours of Battery Park City’s resilience projects and the Sarah Cameron Sunde exhibit.
